Communicating with Nature and Animals – a Findhorn retreat

Monday 16 June – Saturday 21 June 2025

Join us in the world-renowned Findhorn community for Communicating with Nature and Animals – a five-night retreat. Deepen your relationship with animals as you practise telepathic animal communication. Connect with nature as you immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty of this corner of Scotland. The retreat is suitable for complete beginners and experienced communicators alike.

Beginners will learn the basic skills and begin to build confidence in using them. More experienced communicators will have multiple practise opportunities including with new species and aspects of nature (seen and unseen).

communicating with nature retreat

The Findhorn community was founded on the principal of ‘co-creation with nature’. It is the perfect place to learn or practise communicating telepathically with animals, plants, birds, insects. And nature spirits, angels, devas, the sidhe and more.

There will be an opportunity to help out in one of the gardens, where these principles are practised every day. You can join the gentle rhythm of community activities, such as meditation, yoga, dance, singing, fire ceremony.  Walk in the woods, to the bay or on the beach. Book a massage, a sauna, the hot tub or swim in the sea.

This retreat invites you to leave your schedule behind and step outside any time constraints. Slow down and mindfully connect with nature.  Rediscover the depth of your kinship with the natural realms, and reconnect with a deeper part of yourself.

LOCATION

Findhorn Ecovillage, The Park, Findhorn, Moray, IV36 3TZ

ACCOMMODATION

There are a number of accommodation options within the community.  Ecovillage Findhorn offers single or twin-rooms in a shared house;  Findhorn Bay Caravan Park has chalets, eco cabins, holiday caravans and camping; the Findhorn Hinterland Trust provides wild camping pads; and there are also several B&B options in the community and in the nearby village, including the Findhorn village hostel.

FOOD OPTIONS

Most of the accommodation at The Park has cooking facilities, and you can purchase groceries at the Phoenix community stores, near the entrance of The Park.  You can also choose from the Phoenix cafe in The Park, which does great coffee, cakes, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast and lunch options.  In the Findhorn village there is the Bakehouse cafe, The Kimberley pub, The Crown & Anchor pub and the Captains Table.  The pubs are open for lunch and dinner, and the Captains Table for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

HOW TO GET HERE

The Findhorn ecovillage community can be accessed by road, rail or plane.  Trains especially tend to be cheaper the sooner you book. The nearest airports are Inverness and Aberdeen, and both have rail connections to the nearby town of Forres.  There are also trains to Forres from the cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth.

If you are travelling by train from London, there is a direct train from Kings Cross to Inverness once a day (Tip: it is sometimes cheaper to book the Inverness-Forres ticket separately, rather than as part of your overall journey).

From the station it is a 10-15 minute journey by car to the community.  You can either book a local taxi, or some community members offer (cheaper) station pick-ups.  If you need any help with this or with directions to Findhorn by road, please contact me.

Healing with Animals : Tamworth, Australia

Monday 16 June – Saturday 21 June 2025

I am very happy to invite you to ‘save the date’ for a five-day ‘Healing with Animals Retreat’ in Australia on 21-26 September.

I am collaborating once again with Equine Facilitated Experiential Learning expert Ben Skerrett to bring you a hybrid retreat that blends both of our work.  The retreat is suitable for anyone who has had some experience of either animal communication or equine facilitated learning.

Ben and I, along with a herd of horses, will guide you into an even deeper connection with animals and nature.  You will open your sensitivity and build your confidence as we introduce you to a wide variety of new techniques and practises.

The horses will reveal to you the power of your energetic and emotional fields, both of which impact your ability to connect with other species. You will practise communicating telepathically with the horses as well as with animals in your own life. As well as communicating with the wild ones on the 3,000 acre property, there will be opportunities to extend your telepathic sensing to trees, plants, insects, reptiles and elemental beings.

More details:

This residential retreat will include accommodation and all meals, and will follow a gentle rhythm that includes meditation and movement sessions, sit spot and wandering, as well as time to relax.  The evenings should be warm enough to gather around the fire under starry skies as we share our stories of the day.

The venue is about 40 minutes from Tamworth, NSW – so the star-gazing should be amazing!  It may take a bit of effort to get there, but we promise it will be worth it!

Please save the date now and we will be in touch again with a booking link, more details and prices once we have worked out the final few logistics. If you’d like to contact us, please send an email with your questions and we will get back to you soon.
